4/6 and 6/9
4/6 simplified is 2/3
6/9 simplified is 2/3
2/3 = 4/6 = 6/9
they are equivalent because if you multiply or divide both the the top and bottom by the same number the fraction is still the same no matter what
basically, they have the same overall value
