    It is an arithmetic sequence

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The numbers are 24, 30, 36, 42

    ∵ The difference between each two terms is constant and = 6

    ∴ It is an arithmetic sequence its rule is;

    Tn = a + (n - 1) d, where a is the first term and n is the position of the term and d is the constant difference

    Tn = 24 + (n - 1) 6

    Ex; T2 = 24 + (2 - 1) 6 = 24 + 6 = 30
