What is the y-value of the solution to the system of equations? 3x + 5y = 1 7x + 4y = - 13 - 3 - 1 2 5

    So it makes me write 20 character but the answer is y=2

    3x+5y=1

    7x+4y=-13

    3x=1-5y

    x=1/3 - (5/3) y

    7 (1/3-5/3y) + 4y=-13

    7/3-35/3y+4y=-13

    -23/3y+7/3=-13

    -23/3y=-46/3

    y=2
