If a player rolls two dice and gets a sum of 2 or 12, she wins $20. if the sum is 7, she wins $5. the cost to play the game is $3. find the expectation of the person playing this game to the nearest cent.

    The expectation would be that the player would not get much money. 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 11 does not get a lot due to the entrance fee of $3. 20 - 3 = 17. 5 - 3 = 2.
