The floor of a room is being covered with tile. An area of 3/4 of the length and 3/5 of the width is covered. Find the fraction of the floor that has been covered.

    Area = length x width = 3/4Length*3/5Width=9/20LW. The total area covered by the entire floor is the full length x width which is just LW. Therefore 9/20 of the floor has been covered
