What is the equation of a line that is parallel to y=2x+10

    Y = 2x + 10 ... slope here is 2. A parallel line will have the same slope.

    a parallel line would be : y = 2x - 10 or y = 2x + 4, or y = 2x - 8 ... as long as it is y = 2x ... and as long as that last number is not + 10 ... then it will be parallel.
