At Brian's bookstore, 0.3 of the shelves hold mysteries 25% of the shelves hold traveling books, and 7/20 of the shelves hold children's books. Which type of books covers the most shelf space? Explain how you arrived at your answer

    Three different terms here so you need to convert to one type only. Either fractions, decimal or percentage.

    0.3 = 30% = 3/10 mysteries

    25% = 0.25 = 1/4 travel

    7/20 = 35% = 0.35 childrens

    Rearrange:

    0.3 = 30% = 3/10

    0.25 = 25% = 1/4

    0.35 = 35% = 7/20

    Answer is Children's is the greater at 35%
