    6250 + 6250 = 12,500 grams

    Kilograms = 1,000 grams

    So 12,500 divided by 1,000 = 12.5

    6250 + 6250 = 12500 grams

    Kilograms = 1000 grams

    12500/1000 = 12.5 kilograms
