Four times the sum of a number and - 3 is 7 more than quadruple the number. What's the equation?

    Let the unknown number be x.

    4 (x + (-3)) = 7 + 4x

    4x - 12 = 7 + 4x.

    -12 ≠ 7

    There is no equation cause this is cannot happen.
