A factory ships an order of 650 laptops. A worker test a random of 40 laptops and finds that 1 of the laptops takes more than 30 seconds to start up. Predict the number of laptops in the shipment that will take more than 30 seconds to start up.

    1/40 = y/650

    Cross multiply

    40y = 650

    y = 650/40
