The 6 is in the ones place, as it goes left to right. Just like in decimals. 2 is in the hundreds - 2 hundred - 1 is in the tenths - 10 - and 6 is in the ones ... making it out to say two hundred sixteen. (I know you probaly already knew some of that information, but it would have killed me if I hadnt explained myself fully.
