    P=2 (L+W)

    32=P

    32=2 (L+W)

    divide by 2 both sides

    16=L+W

    length is 6 more than width

    L=6+W

    subsisute 6+W for length in other equation

    16=L+W

    16=6+W+W

    16=6+2W

    minsu 6 both sides

    10=2W

    divide both sides by 2

    5=W

    sub back

    L=6+W

    L=6+5

    L=11

    the length is 11ft

    the width is 5ft
