First, we determine the number of onions bought by Amanda using the given ratio above,

O1 = (60 lbs potato) (4.5 lbs onion/18 lbs potato)

O1 = 15 lbs onions

This should also be the same as the amount of onions bought by Jessica. With this, we can then determine the amount of broccoli bought by Jessica given the ratios.

B = (15 lbs onions) (18 lbs broccoli/4 lbs onions)

B = 67.5 lbs broccoli.
