    Okay. 83 tens is equivalent to 830 and 2 tens is 20. Mind you that 10 tens equal 100. 830 * 20 is 16,600, which is equivalent to 166 hundreds. Tens, ones, thousandths, and tenths make zero sense, because those values are too small and 166 thousands equals 166,000. The answer is hundreds.
