A flag pole is 20 feet tall, it's shadow is13 feet long. A boy is standing next to the flag pole. He is 5.5 feet tall about how long is his shadow?

    You cross multiply the ratio of 13ft (shadow) over 20ft (flag pole) by x (shadow for boy) over 5.5ft (BOY) and then divide the products 71.5/20 = 3.575ft and I'd round that to 3.6ft for less sig figures
