    Answer: = 324 ounces left over from 384 ounces

    1 quart is 32 and 8 x 4 = 32 We add them together; 32 + 32 = 64 ounces then convert 3 gallons to ounces = 384

    We subtract;

    384-64=324 ounces.

    We convert again 128 p/g + 128p/g = 256 ounces = 2 gallons

    We subtract; 324-256 = 68

    We divide;

    364/68 = 91/17 = 5 + 6/17 = < 1/6

    364/64 = 90/14 = 5 + 7/10 = < 1/6

    64 = < 1/5 of 384 ounces

    324 = < 384 ounces

    2 gallons, plus 17/32 units of a gallon. = exact = 324 ounces.

    as 68/128 = 128/68 = / 4 each = 17/32
