Amy and her sister are making lemonade for the school dance. their recipe makes 2 quarts of lemonade. if a serving of lemonade is one cup. how many gallons of lemonade will amy and her sister need to make in order to serve one serving of lemonade to 300 people?

    1quart=2pints=4cups

    300people=300cups

    300cups=xquarts

    4 cups = 1 quart

    300/4=75

    300cups=75quarts

    75 quarts needed

    1gallon=4quarts

    75/4=18.75gallons

    or 37.5 times of their recepie

    answer is 18.75 gallons or 75 quarts or 37.5 times of their original recipe
