A group of a hundred people some students and some faculty attending museum opening each student paid $10 per person for entrance to the museum and each of the Faculty paid $25 per person for entrance if the total paid for all 100 people was 1300 dollars how many students attended the museum opening

    We suppose that every one paid $10 for entrance. So the total paid should be $1000. Now there is $300 more. The faculty should pay $15 more than student. So the faculty number is $300/15=20. Then the number of student is 80.
