    Equation of line a is : y = 14 x + 8

    A) y = 1 4 x + 1 : It is parallel to line a the reason being slopes of two lines are same i. e 14.

    B) y = 4 x - 8: Neither parallel nor perpendicular to line a. Because neither the slope of two lines are same nor their product is (-1).

    C) y = - 4 x - 3 : Neither parallel nor perpendicular to line a. Because neither the slope of two lines are same nor their product is (-1).
