How to solve 11 (k-1) = 7 (k-9) in a shorter and easier way?

    11 (k+-1) = 7 (k+-9)

    11k+-11=7k+-63

    -7k - 7k

    4k+-11=-63

    +11 + 11

    4:4k=52:4

    k=13 that's how I would do it.
