The value of y would decrease if x increases and the sum stays the same.

If the value of x increases by 4 and the sum is constant or the same, the value of y will decrease. Ex: if x=1 increase by 4 so, 5+y=13 then y=8, if x increase by 4, 9+y=13, then y=4.
