We know a rectangle has 4 sides, 2 longer and 2 shorter. If one side is 35 cm, then we know that another side is also 35cm. So, the lengths of 2 of the sides are 70 cm together. We have 14 cm left. Divide 14 by 2. The other 2 sides are 7 cm wide.

    Perimeter is 2 length + 2 width so 84=2 (35) + 2 (width)
