A store purchased a DVD for $12.00 and sold it to a costumer for 50% more than the purchase price. The costume was charged a 7% tax when the DVD was sold. What was the costumer's total for the DVD?

    The store profit = 12 * 50% = 6 $

    the store price = 12 + 6 = 18 $

    taxes = 7 % * 18 = 1.26

    the customer's total = 18 + 1.26 = 19.26 $
