Of the 34 cars in a parking lot, 12 are blue, 8 are red, 4 are white, and 10 are silver. in simplest form, what are the odds in favor that the next car that leaves the lot will be red or white?

    8 red out of 34 total = 8/34

    4 white out of 34 total = 4/34

    Red OR White

    8/34 + 4/34 = 12/34 = 6/17
