Joey has 2/3 a gallon of ice cream. He divides the ice cream for his friends so that 1/9 of a gallon is in reach bowl. How many bowls will he use?

    To divide fractions you first set up the equation.

    2/3 divided by 1/9

    Then you do the reciprocal of the second one. But change the sign to a multiplication sign.

    2/3 x 9/1

    Which will equal 6.

    He will use 6 bowls
