Jessica has 5 members in the sewing club that she started. in order to get school sponsorship she must have at least 30 members. how many more members does she need? write an inequality that models this situation.

    Let x be the number of members that Jessica will still have to convince to be part of the sewing club. The inequality that would best represent the given in this item is,

    5 + x ≥ 30

    Solving the inequality,

    x ≥ 25

    This means that to be able to able for school sponsorship she must have an additional of at least 25 members.
