A radio station advertised the Olympia Marathon by saying that about 12,000,000 calories would be burned in one day. If there were 3000 runners, about how many calories did each runner burn?

    Does 10,2, mean 10 squared?

    Edit:12 million divided by 3 thousand=4,000

    10 cubed=1,000

    4*1000=4,000

    So the answer is B, or 4 times 10 cubed.
