Michael Jordan is 6'6'' tall and could jump 4 feet of vertical distance off the ground. A basketball net's rim is 3.9 meters off the ground. With Jordan's combined height and vertical, will his head reach the rim?

    No. 6+4=10. Michael Jordan's head reaches 10'6" above the ground. A meter is slightly more than 3 feet, so 3.9 meters is more than 11'8".

    MJ's head would not reach the rim by more than a foot.
