5/8 of the 64 musicians in a school contest are guitarists some of the guitarist play jazz solos and the rest play classical solos the ratio of the number of guitarists playing jazz solos to the total number of guitarists in the contest is 1/4 how many guitars play classic classical solos in the contest?

    94 x (5/8) = 40, 1/4th of 40 are the people who play jazz solos. 40 x (1/4) = 10. therefore the number of guitarists playing classical solos is 40-10=30,
