It's just like rounding numbers, if the number is. 05 or above, the number goes up to. 1. if the number is. 04 or below, it goes down to 0. for example, 10.87 goes up to 10.9. 4.72 stays at 4.7.

Rounding decimals is very similar to rounding numbers. If the hundreds and thousands places of a decimal is 49 or less they are dropped in the tenths place does not change. for example rounding. 843 to the nearest tenth would give. 8
