Oliver made five batches of cookies and used 32 1/2 cups of flour. He then made an extra batch and used 5/6 cup. How many cups of flour did Oliver use all together?

    Well, since he used 32 1/2, and the 1/2 section is equivalent to 3/6, you can combine the 3/6 and the 5/6 extra batch of flour, and create 8/6 or 1 1/3 cups of flour. So then you would ad these together, 32 + 1 1/3 cups =
