    The inverse is the opposite of what is happening. So the opposite of multiplication. Division is the opposite of multiplication.

    We will divide both sides by 4 to go from y = 4x to x = y/4

    Then swap x and y to get y = x/4 which means the inverse is h (x) = (1/4) x which is what choice D is saying
