Victoria has a 2 pound package of flour. She uses 2/5 of the flour to make pizza. She then uses 3/10 of the remaining flour to make bread. Find the weight of the package of flour that she has left. Express your answer as a decimal.

    One pound = 16 ounces

    2 x 16 = 32 ounces = 2 pounds

    2/5 can also be expressed in decimal form as. 4

    so 32 x. 4 = 12.8

    and then 3/10 also is. 3

    so 32 x. 3 = 9.6

    add the two 12.8 + 9.6 = 22.4
