    The y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis, this is also when x=0

    the x intercept is where the line crosses the x axis, this is also when y=0

    to find them, set to zero each and find the other value

    y intercept, set x=0

    y=-2 (0) - 3

    y=0-3

    y=-3

    y intercept is y=-3 or (0,-3)

    x intercept is when y=0

    0=-2x-3

    add 3

    3=-2x

    divdie by - 2

    -1.5=x

    x intercpet is (-3/2,0) or x=-3/2
