In Ms. Perron's class, 75% of the students are boys. There are 18 boys in the class. What is the total number of students in Ms. Perron's class?

    If 75% are boys and 18 is the number of boys then 75% is equivalent to 18. To get the number of total students which is equivalent to 100% work it out in the following way:

    100x18/75
