    P (fail) = p=0.045

Given the two alternators are independent.

    (A) P (Both fail) = 0.045^2 = 0.002025

    (B) P (None fails) = (1-0.045) ^2=0.912025

    (C) P (at least one fails)

    =1-P (non fails)

    =1-0.912025

    =0.087975
