    The area of the largest circular rug will be found by finding the area of a circle that has a diameter of 12 feet. This would be the maximum length you could fit a rug across completely.

    A = pi x r^2

    3.14 x 6^2

    A = 113.04 square feet

    The largest rug that would fit has an approximate area of 113.04 square feet.
