    The first thing you should do in this case is to calculate the perimeter of the rectangle which will be given by:

    P = 2 * L + 2 * W

    Where

    L = long

    W = width

    Calculating we have:

    P = 2 * (1/4) + 2 * (1/8)

    P = 1/2 + 1/4

    P = 3/4 mi

    To calculate this distance to feet we have to use the following expression:

    (3/4) / (x) = 1/5280

    answer:

    B) 3/4 miles divided by x = 1 mile/5280ft
