if f (x) = 1/2x+2 find f (-2) and f (6) can someone shoe me the steps to get an answer? i have a test retake soon

Fx = 1/2x + 2

f X x = 1/2 + 2

f = (1/2 + 2) / x #

f (-2) = - 2 (1/2 + 2) / - 2 (x)

-2f = (-1 - 4) / - 2x #

f (6) = 6 (1/2+2) / 6 (x)

6f = 3 + 12 / 6x #

Just remember : 6f is = 6 x f

So if they ask you for f (6), it means f times all numbers in the bracket individually.
