Hi there! The answer is £166
If we split into the ratio 2 : 7 we must first realise that the sum of both 2 and 7 is 9. Therefore there are 9 parts in total.
To find 2 of those parts we divide £747 by 9 and then multiply the outcome by 2.
To find 5 of those parts we divide £747 by 9 and then multiply the outcome by 5.
£747 / 9 * 2 = £166
£747 / 9 * 5 = £415
