F (3) = 2 (3) ^2 - 3 (3) + 1 = 18 - 9 + 1 = 10
f (2) = 2 (2) ^2 - 3 (2) + 1 = 8 - 6 = 2
Then f (3) - f (2) = 10 - 2 = 8 (answer)
