What is the x-intercept of the graph: 2x + 4y = - 10

    The x intercept is 2

    x = - 5 - 2y.

    Because when you subtract 4y from both sides you end up with 2x = - 10 - 4y. After that you divide both sides by 2 and get the answer x = - 5 - 2y.

    (This might be the answer and also, I might have not completely done it or something. But I'm pretty sure I did most of it right.)
