A rectangle with length of 10 feet and width 6 feet. A diagonal cuts the rectangle into two halves. One of the triangular halves is shaded.

2 (10 + 6) = 32

fraction 1 over 2 (10 + 6) = 8

fraction 1 over 2 (10 * 6) = 30

2 (10 * 6) = 120

    Formula of the area of a triangle = 1/2 b*h

    (1/2) * 10*6 = 30
