    N; n + 1; n + 2 - three consecutive numbers

    n + (n + 1) + (n + 2) = 144

    3n + 3 = 144 |subtract 3 from both sides

    3n = 141 |divide both sides by 3

    n = 47 - the smallest of the three numbers
