Kevin ate 2 slickes of cake. Ben ate 1 slice. If Kevin ate 2/6 of the cake and all the slices were the same size, what fraction of the cake remained after Kevin and Ben had eaten?

    There are 6 slices, as 2 / (2/6) = 2 * (6/2) = 6.

    Therefore, Ben ate 1/6 of the cake, as it is one of the six slices. In total, they are 3/6 of the cake, or 1/2.
