You would need to find out where the tenth place value is first.
The tenth place value is 7
To round, you start at the farthest place value to the right. It's a 5 so you go up, making the 2 a 3. Since 3 isn't big enough to round the 7. Rounding to the nearest tenth would just make the number 9.7
