    Each side of the hexagon is 24/6=4m. The scale factor makes the new side length 5/2*4=10m so the perimeter is 6*10=60m. Alternatively, since the perimeter is a linear measurement the scale factor can be applied directly to the perimeter: 5/2*24=60m.
