In preparation for the school play, the number of adult tickets sold by the ticket office was 5 less than twice the number of children's tickets. They sold 95 adult tickets. How many children's tickets were sold?

    The equation for this situation is: 95 = 2x - 5

    --> 95 + 5 = 2x

    --> 100 = 2x

    --> 50 = x
