    Length (L) : 3w

    width (w) : w

    Area (A) = L x w

    60 = (3w) w

    60 = 3w²

    20 = w²

    + / - √20 = w

    since width cannot be negative, disregard - √20

    w = √20 = 4.47

    Length (L) : 3w = 3 (4.47) = 13.41

    Answer: width = 4.47 inches, length = 13.41 inches

    Answer: width=4.16 meters, length=6.48 meters
