60% of a museum fossils are from the Jurassic period. If the number of fossils from the Jurassic is 15, what's the total number of fossils at the museum

    The total number of fossils at the museum is 25. If you divide 15 by 60%, you get 25. To check to see if that makes sense, multiple 25 by 60% and you should get 15. By getting 15, you now have 60% of the total fossils at the museum, proving that the total amount of fossils is 25.
